Former Love Island star Zara Holland shares stunning snaps from her wedding to Elliott Love

Zara Holland married her beau Elliott Love in Greece over the weekend.

The 27-year-old, who appeared on the second series of Love Island in 2016, wed her longterm love in front of 140 guests at Island Art & Taste in Athens.

Sharing the first photo from their wedding day on Instagram, Zara wrote: “28.06.23 🤍🇬🇷🫶 Mr & Mrs Love.”

Zara met her beau shortly after leaving the Love Island villa in 2016.

Elliott then proposed to the former Miss Great Britain in January 2022 while they were on holiday in Dubai.

Speaking to MailOnline after their wedding, Zara said: “It was the best day of our lives… it was perfect. I can’t put it into words.”

“It was a three-day wedding, the first day we did a welcome dinner at a family run Greek restaurant called Louizidis Tavern, it was a proper traditional Greek night, and we had a Greek band, and it was family sharing style food.”

“The second day was the wedding and the third day we did a pool party, which was all white themed.”

“We had two best men, eight ushers, five bridesmaids, three flower girls and one page boy,” she explained.

“Elliott is one of three brothers, so his brothers were there, their wives and girlfriends, it was a lovely family wedding, but we had a big group of friends too, it was just perfect.

“I said in my speech because it was the most happy and special day of my life, how could I not say any words?”

“There were too many people in my life who were there that I needed to speak about and say thank you because without them this week wouldn’t have been possible. Plus… I do like chatting away!”

Zara shot to fame on Love Island back in 2016, and appeared on the same season as Kady McDermott – who recently re-entered the villa for a second chance at finding love.

The news comes after Zara and Elliot hit headlines back in December 2020, when they were arrested at an airport in Barbados for allegedly “trying to flee” the island after Elliott tested positive for Covid-19.

Zara pleaded guilty to one charge of breaching the Barbados’ Covid-19 quarantine protocol, and was fined £4k.
