Everyone is saying the same thing about Love Island couple Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page

Love Island fans are comparing one of this year’s couples, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, to the doomed 2019 romance of Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard.

Curtis and Amy were one of the strongest couples on the 2019 series of Love Island, before the notorious Casa Amor plot twist.

The main boys and girls were split up and sent to mingle with entirely new groups of girls and boys, in the hopes that it would ruffle some feathers – and that it did.

Although the pair remained loyal to each other, Amy found out that Curtis had attempted to pursue a romance with Casa Amor beauty Jourdan Riane.

The former air hostess was left heartbroken, and quit the villa over the scandal.

Since the new series premiered on Monday, seasoned fans of the summer dating show have flocked to Twitter to point out similarities between Curtis and Amy and this year’s contestants, Tasha and Andrew.

Love Island 2019 winner Amber Gill, who is a friend of Amy’s, rowed into the discussion, tweeting: “Andrew is giving Curtis Pritchard.”

One Twitter user wrote: “Andrew looks like Curtis and Tasha looks like Amy, and it keeps giving me the absolute fear every time I have a quick glance,” whilst another said, “Tasha and andrew are giving amy and curtis this isn’t going to end well.”

A third user said: “Andrew and Curtis are literally a BTEC version of Amy and Curtis,” whilst a fourth hilariously added: “When you order an Amy and Curtis from Wish.”

After the fall out of Casa Amor, Curtis famously turned his attention to Longford beauty Maura Higgins after splitting from Amy.

The pair placed fourth in the final of the series, and remained together until March 2020, when Maura announced their split on Instagram.
