Dr Alex George joins OnlyFans – but it’s not what you think

Dr Alex George has become the latest celebrity to join OnlyFans.

The platform is a subscription-based service, which allows content creators to earn money from users who subscribe to their account.

The X-rated site has exploded in popularity in recent months, with a host of famous faces signing up for the platform.

Former Love Islander Alex has now started an account to offer mental health to over 18s, offering free advice on the platform.

Sharing the news via his Instagram Stories, the frontline worker wrote: “I have something to tell you all… I have an OnlyFans page. Sorry to disappoint/glad to reassure that it isn’t what you think it is.”

“I am making a FREE page focused on well-being, positivity and motivation. I will be creating focused content on these topics,” the 31-year-old added.

The A&E doctor has been actively campaigning for better mental health provision since the death of his younger brother LlÅ·r, who tragically took his own life in July last year.

Last month, Alex was appointed as a mental health ambassador by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

As well as campaigning for mental health, Alex has been working on the frontline at A&E department in London’s University Hospital Lewisham during the coronavirus pandemic, receiving high praise for using his platform to urge people to follow government guidelines.
