Caroline Flack has revealed that she almost gave up her successful TV career for an ex-boyfriend.
The star divulged that in a moment of desperation, she asked an ex to stay with her in exchange for her giving up her work.
Speaking on Kathy Burke’s All Woman she said: “There has been a point where I did say the words ‘I’ll stop working, don’t leave me’ because he was gonna leave.”
“And I said to myself, why am I saying that?”
“You’re sacrificing everything you do for him, because I really don’t want him to go, I don’t want him to leave but he left.”
Reflecting on the moment, she expressed gratitude that she had not sacrificed her career, as the partner left anyway.
“Thank god I didn’t give up my job,” she exclaimed.
Caroline is one of the UK’s most sought-after TV presenters, with roles on Love Island and Aftersun.
