Ben Foden’s wife Jackie has announced she suffered a pregnancy loss.
The 37-year-old opened up about their tragic loss as she hit back at a troll on Instagram.
The social media user criticised her appearance, calling her a “not so pretty hag”.
Jackie screen shotted the nasty comment and shared it on her story, writing: “Thanks [user], I was pregnant for a while so I haven’t had botox in a while, just had a miscarriage last week, and my 2-year-old has sleep regression so I haven’t slept in a million years.”
“I apologise if my old haggard appearance bothers you. I notice you don’t have any photos of yourself though… but you’re probably just too ridiculously good looking for people to even have the privilege of witnessing.”
Jackie’s Instagram story marks the first time she publicly revealed she was pregnant.
Jackie and Ben tied the knot on August 4, 2019.
The couple are parents to a two-year-old daughter named Farrah.
The rugby player is also father to Aoife, 10, and Tadhg 7, from his previous marriage to The Saturdays star Una Healy.
