A teaser clip for The X Factor: Celebrity has been released, and it’s got us very excited for the new series.
The trailer shows Love Island stars Wes Nelson, Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker, and Samira Mighty auditioning in front of judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, and Nicole Scherzinger.
At the start of the video, X Factor boss Simon admits his “credibility is at stake” before saying, “It’s time for something different.”
All of the celebrity contestants can be spotted in the trailer, including Glee actor Kevin McHale, talk show host Ricki Lake, and reality star Megan McKenna.
The clip also features a brief glimpse of rugby stars Ben Foden, Thom Evans and Levi Evans, who have formed a boyband called ‘Try Star’.
Although the show hasn’t even started yet, Try Star are surprisingly the early favourites to win the show with odds of 5/1.
The auditions took place at Simon Cowell’s mansion in LA, and fellow judge Louis Walsh teases the new series “could be carnage.”
The series premieres on October 12th on Virgin Media One at 8.35pm.
