Meet the Irish man set to appear on Love Island Australia

He is gorgeous!

Love Island Australia makes its return to TV down-under next Monday, and an Irish man has been cast in this year’s series.

Eoghan Murphy, 23, from Co. Laois has been announced as one of the eleven contestants set to appear on the show.

The real estate agent moved to Australia in 2006, and lives on the Gold Coast.

Speaking before the shows premiere, he said: “My values are a lot more old school than what’s floating around today. I treat women the right way, I was raised by a single mum.

Eoghan also revealed: “I was in a relationship from when I was 14 up until last year.”

“A lot of girls do look at me and think I’m a player but I’m truthful, I’m honest and I’m loyal.”

Eoghan says he’s looking for “a brunette who is fun, not rude, polite and extremely ladylike.”

He added: “I want to put her on a pedestal like she is the only girl in the world.”

While last year’s series was filmed in Majorca, this year the show will be set in Fiji.

RTÉ broadcaster Eoghan McDermott will once again act as the voiceover for the show, as he takes a break from his 2FM breakfast role.
