TV3 star Vincent Browne has blasted Pat Kenny for claiming he “invented audience” on his Frontline current affairs show.
The Tonight With Vincent Browne host also claimed members of the former Late Late Show host’s audience are “plants”.
“The last time I was along with Pat Kenny I heard afterwards that he made a smart remark before I came on air about that I am claiming to have invented audience long before hand,” he said.

“What he has is a few important people on a panel and then he would go down and ask a few plants in a audience a few questions and then goes back to the important people.”
The outspoken host also revealed that he misses going to the pub now that he works late nights.
Asked if he is coping okay with the late nights, he told Today FM: “I don’t like not being able go to the pub but apart from that that’s the only thing.
