Comedian Tommy Tiernan claims he isn’t wealthy – but he is worth a massive €600,000.
The TV star’s two firms had profits of €600,000 last year – after his Mabinog companies shot up by €78,289 after a bumper year of touring.
But previously, the 45-year-old said he’d be on the streets within two months if he stopped working.
Not in it for the money: Tommy does it for love of comedy
He said: “I’m not a very wealthy person. I would have earned phenomenal money and it’s all gone. Genuinely, if I stopped working I would probably last about two months.”
He added: “I think part of me doesn’t respect money, even though the heat is on in terms of bills to be paid every month.”
Profits at Mabinog Ltd last year went from €67,169 to €157,246, while accumulated profits at sister firm Mabinog Publishing Ltd slightly reduced from €449,932 to €438,141.

Next year, Tommy will be making more money with 13 days at Dublin’s Vicar Street venue in January before heading to Cork and Northern Ireland.
Previously Tommy said he “didn’t get into stand-up for the money. I never thought I would earn a living from stand-up.”
