These are the BEST Christmas films coming to Netflix for the festive season

With the Christmas season fast approaching, we don’t doubt that you’re starting to make plans for cosy nights in with hot chocolate and Netflix – we know we are.

Before party season is in full swing, there’s time to enjoy a heartwarming Christmas film (or 10).

We’ve compiled a list of all the best festive films set to land on Netflix in the coming weeks.

Let It Snow

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress Kiernan Shipka stars alongside Shameik Moore and Isabela Merced in this winter film.

Based on a novel by writers John Green (The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns), Maureen Johnson (13 Little Blue Envelopes) and Lauren Myracle (Thirteen Plus One), the film follows residents of a a small town in the midwest on Christmas Eve.

When a snowstorm hits, passersby are stuck in the town, and the lives of the residents begin to collide. By Christmas morning, their lives will have changed forever.

Klaus

Starring Jason Schwartzman (Fantastic Mr. Fox) and J.K Simmons, Klaus is an animated tale which tells a fictional story about the origins of Santa Claus.

Jesper, a postman who is banished to work in the North Pole for being terrible at his job, befriends a reclusive toymaker named Klaus.

Their unlikely friendship sparks the beginning of a legacy.

A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby

The Royal Baby is the third instalment in the A Christmas Prince series.

Following on from the events of the 2018 movie, A Christmas Price: The Royal Wedding, this film follows Queen Amber and King Richard as they welcome a Christmas miracle.

A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish

The first movie in this series was the iconic movie starring Hillary Duff and Chad Michael Murray in 2004.

Now, 5 films later, A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish, is a straight-to-DVD festive film starring Laura Marano and Gregg Sulkin.

The film follows a mall Elf (Marano) who’s only Christmas wish is to sing and dance. She tells the wish to Santa (Sulkin), helps her make her dreams come through.

The Knight Before Christmas

Starring Vanessa Hudgens as a science teacher who is disillusioned by love, The Knight Before Christmas is a heartwarming romcom.

A Knight (Josh Whitehouse) is transported by medieval magic to modern day Ohio where he falls in love with the high school teacher (Hudgens) who takes him under her wing.

This one lands on Netflix on November 21st.

A Bad Moms Christmas

Released in 2017, A Bad Moms Christmas has joined the offerings from Netflix this Christmas.

The festive film is a sequel to the 2016 blockbuster, Bad Moms.

Starring the original cast of Mila Kunis, Kristien Bell and Katryn Hahn, the winter upgrade follows the moms as their own mothers arrive in town for the holiday season.

Holiday In The Wild

Rob Lowe (St. Elmo’s Fire) and Kristin Davis (Sex And The City) star together in this winter film which takes place in Africa.

When Kate’s (Davis) husband suddenly ends their marriage, the New Yorker heads to Africa on a solo safari. During a detour through Zambia, she meets Derek a pilot.

The pair rescue a baby elephant, and romance begins to blossom.
