Gleb Savchenko had admitted that he would bet £100 on Giovanni Pernice and Laura Whitmore getting together.
The Russian dancer was on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing last year, but chose to move over to the U.S. this year to star on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
Now, the dancer has revealed that, knowing Giovanni, romance might blossom between the Italian stallion and the Irish beauty.
“I bet you £100 Giovanni will get with Laura this year,” he said.

Giovanni was paired with actress Georgia May Foote on last year’s show – who later became a couple after the competition ended.
“Next season I’ll bet you another £100 he will get with his new partner,” he told Star magazine.
“[Georgia and Giovanni] were never going to get married, have kids and live happily ever after.”
