RuPaul’s Drag Race star Chi Chi DeVayne star has died at the age of just 34.
The shocking news comes after she was hospitalised with pneumonia just last week, when she asked fans to pray for her.
According to reports she was also admitted to hospital with high blood pressure and suspected kidney failure a few weeks earlier.
Chi Chi had told her fans that she had “catheters to her heart” and kidneys surgically installed, and then had to undergo dialysis.
The popular performer had lived with scleroderma, a rare, condition caused by the immune system attacking the tissue under the skin, and around internal organs and blood vessels.

Tributes have been pouring in from all over the world after the news of her sudden death.

Damn this one hurts. Chi Chi was so authentic and incredibly talented. She was a fighter who even in her last moments was optimistic and smiling. You were way too young to leave us. Rest in Power, Chi Chi. ♥️ pic.twitter.com/KwVfr433Qn
