The Ray D’Arcy Show has spent thousands of euros for guests to appear on the show over the last 12 months.
The Saturday night programme has had many celebrities on the show including the current Rose of Tralee, Eoghan McDermott, Kerry Katona, Brian Kennedy and more.
RTE spent €6,471 on guests per episode – €2,000 more than it’s Friday night rival The Late Late Show.

According to the Sunday Business Post, The Late Late Show spent €4,628 for their guests and have nearly twice the amount of viewers.
“An average of nearly €2,000 more [than The Late Late Show] was spent on appearance fees for the star’s Saturday night programme last year,” they claimed.
“[It] cost an average of €6,471 per episode for guests’ transports, accommodation and appearances.”
Fellow RTE presenter Ryan Tubridy has revealed fears about being axed from The Late Late Show.
