Ray D’Arcy has revealed his TV show will have a new section to it.
The radio star joined RTE in 2015 to hosts The Ray D’Arcy Show on Saturday nights.
“We’re going to bring good news to the television – which is good news,” he said.

The Kildare native is looking for the public to send him in stories for his good news segment.
“We’re looking for stories that put smiles on peoples faces that’s what we want from you,” he said on RTE radio.
“Think of it as an antidote to all the bad news.”

The presenter admitted that he will have a “special guest” reading out the good news.
“We have a very special guest newsreader for our good news slot on the television,” he said.
“But I can’t tell you too much about it because it’s under warps at the moment.”
