Marty Whelan has opened up about his children’s careers.
The broadcaster has been in the entertainment industry since 1979 with no signs of stopping, but is happy his children have found their own path.
“They are happy enough to do their own thing which is wonderful,” he admitted.

The Winning Streak host has two children, Thomas, who works with popular radio station 98FM, and Jessica, who works as a school teacher.
“Thomas is involved in marketing and event management and he’s working with 98fm,” the 60-year-old said to the Herald.
“I don’t think he wants to present to be honest.”
Marty further opened up about his daughter’s teacher career and revealed that it’s great for her to have a permanent job.
“With the teaching thing, you’ll never be rich but please God, you will have a proper, permanent job which is a wonderful thing.”
