Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler has revealed he’s “in talks” to appear on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The 33-year-old, who shares children Jett and Bunny with the former glamour model, has admitted he’d “love” to sign up for the show.
Katie famously met her first husband Peter Andre on the series in 2004, and completed a second stint in the jungle in 2009.
Speaking to New! magazine, Kieran said: “I’d love to go on I’m A Celeb. I think there have been talks but I don’t know for sure.”
“I’d love to do it because I’m into the outdoors anyway so for me it would be really cool. I think it’s just the eating stuff I’d be a bit rubbish at – and it’s closer to home now I’ve heard!”
Last month, the Daily Star reported that Katie was worried about him going on the show.
Katie and Kieran tied the knot in January 2013, but called it quits five years later after she found out he had slept with their nanny.
A source told the Daily Star: “Katie and Kieran had a family messy breakup after he cheated on her but they have come a long way.”
“Trust is still an issue between them but Kieran is usually careful not to say anything out of line.”
“Naturally if they do with him (sign him up for the jungle) ITV will be hoping Kieran opens up about his relationship with Katie while in the jungle – especially as Katie has been on the show twice,” the source continued.
“Katie has lived her life in the spotlight – she’s braced for him to say a couple of things about her.”
