Home and Away star Ben Unwin has died at the age of 41.
Ben was best known for playing Jesse McGregor on the hit Aussie soap from 1996 to 2000, and once again from 2002 to 2005.
According to The New South Wales Police Force, the actor’s body was found on August 14.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Channel 7 said: “Cast and crew from Home and Away are saddened to learn of the passing of former castmate, Ben Unwin.”
“Ben’s work in the role of Jesse McGregor is remembered with much affection. Ben’s family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.”
After leaving his Home and Away role back in 2005, Ben quit acting for good and worked as a senior solicitor in Newcastle, New South Wales.
