The current Mr Ireland has landed a role in Tv3’s first ever soap.
Goss.ie can reveal that the model is already filming scenes and will play a big role in the upcoming series called Red Rock.
Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie, Karl said he had to queue up for hours like everyone else to audition for the role.
“I initially auditioned for Red Rock when you were first casting for actors,” he said.

“I was successful for the first round so they called me back for a second audition. They had other plans and decided they wanted to give me a different character then.
“I’m playing Shane O’Connor – who is an estate agent,” Karl explained.
Karl, 26, will star in the show alongside Game of Thrones star Jane McGrath, Love/Hate actress Denise McCormack and Braveheart star Liam Carney.
