It’s official – The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy will premiere this December.
Back in May, Peacock announced that season five of Ultimate Girls Trip would be a RHONY Legacy edition, featuring OG stars from The Real Housewives of New York.
The cast includes Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman.
While fans hoped Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin would also return for the RHONY reunion, sadly they won’t be a part of the spin-off series.
The cast filmed the show in St. Barts back in June, the same place they visited during RHONY season five when Luann famously romanced the “pirate”.
With Kelly Bensimon returning for the RHONY Legacy series, fans are obviously hoping for a repeat of Scary Island.
During season three of RHONY, the Housewife had what her cast mates called a “breakdown” during their trip to St. John in the United States Virgin Islands.
Last month, Luann confirmed there would be “a repeat of Scary Island” in the new series.
Speaking to Today.com, the reality star explained: “Kelly is somebody who has a lot of guy friends, and she’s never had a lot of girlfriends. I think it was a lot for her to process.”
“Being around the girls, it’s kind of what happened last time, I think it really got to her, and I think this time around, it took her awhile to get her feet wet. And she did. There’s a little bit of a — a repeat of Scary Island going on somewhere.”
