Meanwhile Garda Ciara Murphy from Dunboyne in County Meath was chosen as winner of the G Hotel & Spa Best Hat competition.
Ciara’s hat is by Fiona Rafter Millinery in Dunshaughlin and described it as a bronze feathered piece with arrows and rose buds.
The judging panel for Ladies Day was Triona Barrett General Manager of The G, Louise Duffy, model boss Mandy Maher, Melanie Morris from Image magazine and Bairbre Power Fashion Editor with the Irish Independent.
