X Factor‘s Brendan Murray shared a touching message for his father, ahead of tonight’s elimination.
The Galway native received great feedback last night, after he sang A Great Big World’s ‘Say Something’ for the Big Band night.
The 22-year-old took to Instagram today to thank his father for pushing him to go to the X Factor audition during the summer, as he shared a picture from a few days before he took to the stage.
“This photo was taken 2 days before my X factor audition. Just a casual night out with dad in his local pub watching him play a few songs,” the plumber wrote.
“If he hadn’t pushed me out the door and gave me the confidence to go for X factor I don’t know where I’d be right now.”
“If I’m ever lucky enough to have kids when I’m older, I hope I can push them to follow they’re dreams as he’s done for me.
Best man I know,” Brendan finished.
The X Factor is back tonight on Virgin Media One at 8PM.
