Virgin boss Richard Branson has revealed he went on a night out with Bono this week.
The top business man jetted to Dublin this week to launch Virgin Media in Ireland and admitted he hung out with the U2 frontman.
“He took us to the theatre and a very nice restaurant, we had some good drinks,” Richard told Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show.

“We celebrated the 20th anniversary  of U2’s first ad, he’s a good friend,” he added.
“We both have similiar interests and we use our celebrity statuses to try to make the world a better place. He does lots of fantastic things, and quite often we overlap and do those things together,” he explained.
