Niall Horan got very flirty with Lorraine Kelly on her show this morning, admitting that the lyrics of his new single Slow Hands are “very sexual”.
The Mullingar native appeared on her ITV breakfast show today – and when Lorraine started quizzing Niall about his new song, the topic quickly turned to sex.
Viewers were left cringing when the 57-year-old started describing sex as |one of the wonderful things in life” during their interview.
“I thought I had finished the album probably last November or December and then I had a thought in January that I wasn’t. I went back into the studio and wrote Slow Hands in February so it was a last minute addition to the album,” Niall said.

“It’s very sexual Lorraine… I didn’t want to say that in front of you but I’ve said it now.
The presenter then replied, “That’s what music is. It celebrates the wonderful things in life and sex is one of the wonderful things in life. Let’s be honest, you can’t deny that.”
When Lorraine asked how Niall deals with all the female attention, he said, “It’s not as bad as you think. I’m quite reserved,” he quipped. “Are you asking for my number? Because I wish you were.”

The 23-year-old also chatted about going head to head in the charts against his former One Direction bandmates, “Everyone’s great and bringing out all different types of music and we’re all doing it at the same time which is great.
“Everyone’s getting a good look in and it’s been really fun. I’ve really enjoyed watching everyone.”
The singer also opened up about performing at the One Love Manchester concert over the weekend, which he described as incredibly emotional. Watch the full interview below:
