TV presenter Eoghan McDermott helping students study for their Leaving Cert

Eoghan McDermott is helping students across Ireland to buckle down for their exams.

With just fifty days to go until the Junior and Leaving Cert exams, the TV presenter has teamed up with eircom StudyHub to call on students to help each other by sharing advice using hashtag #StudyHacks on Twitter.

“I distinctly remember returning from the Easter holidays ahead of my own Leaving Cert and there was certainly a lot of pressure at that time to get the head down and start studying all hours,” Eoghan said.

“It can be quite isolating, so a campaign like #StudyHacks is really valuable as it can bring the wider student community together.”

“And remind those who are struggling with study and exam preparation that they’re not on their own – there’s plenty of other students up and down the country going through the same thing.”

“Students share everything online now so why not help each with exam prep?”

The Voice Of Ireland host also offered his own study hack to students as they begin to prepare for their exams.

“Exercise can boost your memory and brain power so I took a 20 min walk before an exam which definitely helped improve my performance! #StudyHacks”
