Tributes have poured in for music promoting legend, John Reynolds, following his death, aged fifty-two.
John was well known within the music industry, as he co-founded Electric Picnic, and more recently founded Forbidden Fruit, Altogether Now and the Metropolis Festival.
The Longford native co-managed Boyzone at the start of the boyband’s career and is a legend within the industry.
John passed away suddenly last night and his family have asked for “privacy at this time.”
Many celebs from around the country, such as Ian Dempsey, Ham Sandwhich and James Vincent McMorrow have all paid tribute to the music promoter.
“John Reynolds cared more about the experience he gave, than the money to be made. Such a loss. Gutted,” DJ, Mark McCabe tweeted.

It has been confirmed that Metropolis Festival will continue on as scheduled in the RDS this weekend.
