The Pussycat Dolls announce first Irish headline gig in 10 years

The Dolls will return to Dublin next year

After finally confirming those long standing reunion rumours, Nicole Scherzinger and her girl band The Pussycat Dolls have announced a show in Dublin’s 3Arena.

Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt will be kicking off a series of shows in Dublin on April 5th 2020.

The only member of the original line up missing is Melody Thornton.

The star previously told ITV’s Lorraine that she wouldn’t be returning because being in the band “really affected” her confidence.

“They said we’re going to have Nicole do all of the recording, you’re going to have to learn and dance with the rest of these girls,” she said.

“For me, it really affected my confidence because I wasn’t using my best asset, and people were getting to know me for something that I didn’t do,” the singer explained.

“And I was the weakest dancer, so it was challenging.”

Speaking on the band’s reunion, Nicole said she “cannot wait” to get back on the stage and show fans what they’ve got in store.

“I love all my girls so much and cannot wait to show you what we’ve got in store for you.”

“It’s been a long time coming but this feels like the perfect time to remind the world what it means to be a Pussycat Doll.”
