Suzanne Jackson has revealed that her grandmother has sadly passed away.
The top blogger and entrepreneur announced the heartbreaking news in a touching post on Instagram.
Suzanne’s grandmother was 94, and living in a nursing home.
Taking to Instagram, Suzanne posted a photo of her nanny and her father Damian, and wrote, “Last Wednesday myself and my dad visited my nanny Jackson in the nursing home.”
“As usual when I put my hands on hers and said “hiya nanny”, she would instantly take my hands in hers and say “oh your poor hands are so cold” and she would try warm them while kissing them gently.
“Even in her weaker days (and aged 94), she would still try to protect me, and ensure I was always warm and content. That was the last day I spent with her and I secretly said my goodbyes as I knew the time was coming.
“Last night my beautiful Nanny Jackson departed our world for the next, and were all heartbroken,” she wrote, before adding, “She was one in a million. RIP nanny Jackson, we all love you deeply.”
In a heartbreaking turn of events, Suzanne’s nanny died on the same day as her sister Carla’s 24th birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Carla wrote, “Thank you to everyone who has taken the time today to wish me a happy birthday. I will aways remember my 24th birthday.”
“This evening I said goodbye to my beautiful Nanny Jackson for the last time. You waited for me to say goodbye to you before you departed this world. Just being able to spend my birthday with you meant the world to me.
“You are forever in my heart and I love you so much. Thank you for everything. Every birthday will be even more special and I’ll know you will always be looking down over me. Sleep tight and rest in peace,” she added.
