RTE presenter Sinead Kennedy has admitted she thought her pants were going to split when Virgin founder Richard Branson lifted her in his arms in front of a live audience.
The Winning Streak host was hosting a Q&A with the billonaire at the RDS in Dublin to mark the rebranding of UPC as Virgin Media and revealed she was terrified of a wardrobe malfunction.
“I’ll be honest, the only thing I was thinking was ‘oh good God, my a**e is going to come out of my trousers’,” she said.

“Those are tailored pants. I wasn’t expecting it obviously at all. I hadn’t googled: ‘Does Richard Branson like to randomly pick people up’, so I wasn’t expecting it.”
Opening up about the spontaneous moment, the 30-year-old admitted she was terrified she would drop her cue cards and wouldn’t be able to pick them up.
“Thankfully they didn’t rip, but that’s all that was going on in my head,” she told Independent.ie.
