He counts Niall Horan, Kodaline and Laura Whitmore as his best friends, but Eoghan McDermott has said he doesn’t want to be a celebrity.
The Voice of Ireland presenter has a huge fan base online, with over 70,000 followers, but admitted he has no interest in fame.
“I’m just a presenter, I hate the word ‘celebrity’ — that’s not me,” he said.
“I’m not pretentious, I’m not a presenter who is going to give you your online advertising.

“Yes I have a lot of followers… but I’m just a presenter. I am not curing cancer,” he told the Sun.
Meanwhile Eoghan revealed he will be leaving Louise McSharry’s radio show next month, as she is set to make her return after battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
“I always knew I was just gate keeping for Louise and I’ve known for a little while that she wanted to come back around now.”
