Ronan Keating NOT returning to Australian X Factor

Former Boyzone crooner Ronan Keating has announced he will not be returning to The X Factor Australia.

After a long five seasons, the Dubliner has revealed he is taking a year off to focus on his own music.

“I’ve had five great years working on an amazing show with a brilliant team of people.

“But I’m working on a new solo album and different projects so I can’t make it back this year sadly,” he told Sydney’s Sunday Telegraph.

“I will miss being in Australia. But I will get back soon for some live shows.”

The 38-year-old who finished Once the Musical earlier this month, recently got engaged to his girlfriend Storm Uechtritz.

The two who met on the set of the hit reality show when Storm was producer where Ronan mentored two acts to win the show.

The couple who were based Down Under for a number of years are actively looking for a new home in Ireland.

Wanting to be closer to his children, Ronan and Storm are looking at homes around North County Dublin.
