It has been revealed Irish actor Robert Sheehan has been cast in a production of The War of the Roses.
Performing at the Rose Theatre in London, the Portlaois native will return to the stage in an exciting production inspired by Shakespeare’s quartet of historical plays.
The production will follow the conflict between the Houses of York and Lancaster for the English throne and “tells a tale of feuding families, murderous kings and adulterous queens”.

Other stars appearing alongside the handsome actor are Tudors star Joely Richardson and Norwegian actor Kåre Conradi.
Robert’s newest role marks his return to the London stage following his performance in 2011’s The Playboy Of The Western World at The Old Vic.
The War of the Roses will begin it’s run in September.
