Robbie and Claudine Keane are planning a big move to Dubai next month, as the Irish footballer joins his new team in India.
The couple plan to maintain a base in Dubai, as it’s just a few hours from India, and there are regular flights to and from Dublin.
Although the couple’s two-year-old son Hudson will travel with Claudine, their eldest son Robert Jnr will be staying in his school in Dublin.
“They will have a place in Dubai and travel between the three places. It’s only a short flight to India and Dublin so they can travel quite easily,” a source told the Irish Mail on Sunday.
The Indian season runs from early October until mid-December, which leaves Robbie the option to join a club in England during the January transfer window.
Moving country isn’t a big deal to the Keane family, as they have lived in both the UK and Los Angeles throughout Robbie’s football career – but the couple have always maintained a Dublin home.
Robbie is signed to Indian Super League side Atletico de Kolkata.
