Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning to visit Ireland for a ‘mini-moon’.

The Herald has reported that the couple are making arrangements to travel to Ireland a few weeks after their Royal wedding, which is set to take place on May 19 in St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

And according to sources, Harry and Meghan will take part in a series of engagements over two days.

While their visit to Ireland won’t count as their honeymoon, the couple are expected to arrive on Irish soil shortly after their wedding.

“It will possibly be the first foreign trip after their wedding,” a source said.

Prince Harry has never visited Ireland before, but Meghan travelled here as an ambassador for the One Young World summit back in 2014. The former actress also hosted a club night in Dicey’s back in 2013, at the height of her Suits fame.

Harry’s father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are also expected to visit Ireland in late April or early May.

The royal couple are quite fond of our emerald isle, as they also visited for three days last May.

After the high-profile royal visits, Pope Francis is set to attend the World Meeting of Families in Dublin, which will be held between August 21 and 26.

According to reports, the Pope will say Mass in the Phoenix Park, and will possibly pay a historic visit to Northern Ireland.
