Pippa O’Connor ‘not worried’ about backlash as she launches denim line

Pippa O’Connor has admitted that she’s “not worried” about backlash as she gears up to launch her denim line.

The blonde beauty is set to launch her new collection of jeans under the name Poco, and they will be available in sizes 6-16 – which means that the line, unfortunately, won’t cater to plus-size ladies.

While Pippa has admitted that she’s not worried, she didn’t rule out adding larger sizes to her line in the future.

“No, I’m not worried. You have to start somewhere and that’s where I am starting,” she told the Herald.

“I haven’t even thought that far ahead yet, I need to get it off the ground first.”

Speaking about the launch, Pippa admitted that herself and husband Brian Ormond are nervous because it’s their “own venture”.

“We are launching it on November 14 exclusively online. I can’t wait. I’m nervous about it because it’s Brian and mine’s own venture, we’re not in collaboration with anyone else.

“There’s a variation. We have five styles, different colours, different washes. We’ll start with five and see how we go. They are not at all out there, there’s no big embellishment. They’re very pared back, that’s what I wanted.

“Jeans are my everyday uniform – it’s what I wear all the time. It’s something I’m very passionate about. I have gotten lots of messages from girls who are really excited to get them,” she added.
