Supermac’s founder and owner Pat McDonagh shared his story on The Late Late Show – and fans of his sent out hilarious tweets in support of the entrepreneur.
The Galway native set up the franchise in 1978 in his hometown of Ballinasloe and has since set up a Supermacs in almost every county in Ireland.
The original restaurant in Galway is known as a popular hot spot for night club goers at the end of a night and clips of people enjoying a early morning bit often end up online.
Pat’s proudest supporters took to Twitter to praise the businessman.
Many complimented his tasty dishes on offer while others commended him on his entrepreneurship.
