Penny Lancaster has taken to Instagram to thank Irish television presenter Anna Daly for her recent style triumph.
Penny, who is married to Rod Stewart, shared her thanks after Anna met Rod while interviewing him for Weekend AM ahead of his Irish concerts in Cork, Belfast and Dublin.
During the interview, Rod complimented Anna’s snakeskin suit and Anna kindly told him where he could get it.
However, she went above and beyond and contacted the brand, Mint Velvet, to let them know they could have a fan in Penny and Rod.
The presented sent the brand a card, which the brand inserted into the box ahead of sending it to Penny.
Anna’s gesture did not go unnoticed, as Penny donned the striking suit on the show.
Taking to her Instagram to share a snap of the suit, she wrote:
“Thank you @annadaly for arranging this @mintvelvet suit to be sent to me @loosewomen.”
“Love the story of how you were wearing it when you interviewed my husband in Ireland and he wanted the details of it and you went that one step further. Wonderful act of kindness.”
