Nadine Coyle had the funniest response when asked about her infamous “passport scene” from reality show Popstars.
The singer was a special guest at the Specsaver’s Spectacle Wearer Of The Year at The Grand Hotel in London, when host of the night Rylan Clarke brought up her infamous blunder.
After being selected to be in the first ever band from Irish Popstar, Nadine was dropped from the series when she accidently gave her wrong date of birth – and show bosses realised she was under age.
When she was caught out Nadine called her parents on camera and kept asking her mother did she have her passport as proof of her real age.
Of course her passport showed she was underage so it never appeared.
While on stage with the singer last night Rylan asked: “So Nadine, did your Mammy ever find your passport in the end?”
Taking it in her stride Nadine laughed: “To this day my mammy never found my passport”.
After being dropped from the show Nadine later went on to Popstars Rivals and won a place in Girls Aloud.
While Rylan hosted the #LoveGlasses event, some special guests included Professor Green, George Shelley, Denise Van Outen and judge Louis Walsh.
