The 2022 Miss Ireland will be crowned on Saturday night at the Royal Theatre in Castlebar.
Sponsored by TanOrganic, the current Miss Ireland Pamela Uba will hand over her crown as the pageant celebrates its 75th anniversary.
The 36 finalists this year have been put through their paces in a challenging competitive process over the last three months.
The contenders have tested their skills in debating, public speaking, talent, sports, modelling, social media and each finalist was tasked with raising much-needed awareness and funds for their chosen charities.
The finalists vying for the coveted crown this year are a highly educated and accomplished group with an eclectic mix of professions and aspirations in fields such as human rights law, medicine, global commerce, corporate law, criminology, cybersecurity, dental nursing, chartered accountancy, international business, performance arts, medicine, psychiatric nursing, economics and politics, marketing and retail innovation, broadcasting, physiology, zoology, biomedical science and social science.
The winner of Miss Ireland 2022 will receive a lucrative agency contract, and a host of prizes including jewellery, gowns, professional photo shoots, beauty and hair products.
Of course, the winner will later jet off to represent her country at the Miss World Festival, which is televised in over 100 countries around the world.
She will also enjoy an all-expenses paid trip to the Maldives to do a photoshoot later in the autumn.

Miss Carlow – Emmanuella (Ella) Ambrose
Emmanuella, 19, from Youghal, is studying IT management in SETU Carlow.
Miss Clare – Derinn Finnerty
Derinn, 20, from Ennis, Co. Clare, is studying global commerce in NUIG and recovering from her third spinal fusion surgery to fix her spine due to severe scoliosis.
Miss Cork – Saoirse O’Shaughnessy
Saoirse, 22, from Coachford, Co. Cork, is working as a full-time care assistant in A&E in the CUH and recently qualified as a personal trainer.
Miss Cork City – Eve Mullins
Eve, 21, from Whitechurch, Co. Cork is studying early years and childhood studies in UCC.
Miss Cork East – Chloe McCarthy
Chloe, 20, from Passage West, Co.Cork is studying early years and childhood studies in UCC.
Miss Cork North – Sofia Labus
Sofia, 19, is from Ballyvolane, Co. Cork, has plans to study criminology in UCC.
Miss Cork People’s Choice – Meg O’Mahony
Meg, 21, from Greenmount, Cork City, is studying business information systems in MTU with a degree in art and design.
Miss Cork Southeast – Carol Ryan
Carol, 25, from Blackrock in Cork City, works as a model and business support manager, specialising in cybersecurity.
Miss Dublin – Katie O’Connor
Katie, 18, from Dublin, is working as a makeup artist and model. She’s also a ballroom and Latin dancer and has represented Ireland in multiple world dance championships.
Miss Dublin Central – Jasmine Gerhardt
Jasmine, 24, from Clonee in Dublin, is a law graduate and human rights masters student.
Miss Dublin City – Carine (CeCe) Tiesoh
Carine, 25, from Blanchardstown in Dublin, studied dental nursing in Trinity College and is currently working as a dental nurse and model.
Miss Dublin South – Kate Coffey
Kate, 23, from Ballsbridge, Co. Dublin, works as a model and influencer, and is currently studying a master’s degree at Smurfit Business School.
Miss Dublin West – Britney Madondo
Britney, 19, from Grangegorman in Dublin, is studying film and broadcasting.
Miss Galway – Ava Mathews
Ava, 21, from Loughrea Co. Galway, works as a model and is currently studying a bachelor of science degree in NUI Galway, majoring in physiology.
Miss Kerry – Kasey McCormack
Kasey, 18, from Tralee Co. Kerry, hopes to pursue a career in nursing.
Miss Kildare – Ciara Smith
Ciara, 19, from Clane, Co. Kildare, is studying for a performance degree in TU Dublin’s Conservatory of music.
Miss Kilkenny – Shreya Ambade
Shreya, 19, from Kilkenny City, is currently studying biomedical science at UCD.
Miss Laois – Sarah Corbet
Sarah, 19, is studying law and human rights in NUI Galway and hopes to one day work for the UN.
Miss Leitrim – Rachel Foley
Rachel, 22, from Kinlough Co. Leitrim, is working as a receptionist and model.
Miss Limerick – Emily Maunsell
Emily, 21, from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, is studying international business at University of Limerick.
Miss Louth – Maiya McGonagle
Maiya, 19, from Drogheda, is pursuing an integrated masters in zoology in Bangor University and has her own sustainable fashion brand.
Miss Mayo – Lauren Forkan
Lauren, 22, from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, is working in retail and has a passion for music.
Miss Meath – Aine Duff
Aine, 25, from Co. Meath, has a degree in Modern Languages and speaks Spanish and Italian.
Miss Monaghan – Rachel Martin
Rachel, 26, from Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, works as a business development executive.
Miss Munster – Ivanna McMahon
Ivanna, 27, from Ennis, Co. Clare, studied medicine at University College Cork and is currently working in Tralee, Co Kerry.
Miss Munster People’s Choice – Orla Winston
Orla, 20, from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, is a student at UCC, studying commerce.
Miss Navan – Anna Clarke
Anna, 24, from Navan, Co. Meath, was born in China and was adopted into an Irish family when she was one years old. She works as a PT and online fitness coach.
Miss Roscommon – Rachel Doran
Rachel, 22, from Roscommon town, has just completed her degree in events and public relations and works as model and content creator.
Miss Sligo – Chloe May Clarke
Chloe, 19, from Ballisodare, Co. Sligo, is studying secondary school teaching in Dublin City University and is a fluent Irish speaker.
Miss Tipperary – Megan Kelly
Megan, 19, from Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary, is studying business with event management and plans to dedicate this year to pursue her interests in being more involved in her community.
Miss Tipperary South – Kerri Doyle
Kerri, 18, from Killenaule, Co. Tipperary, is working as a make-up artist and is hoping to go on to study and further her career in aesthetics.
Miss Waterford City – Heather Murray
Heather, 23, from Waterford city, is studying beauty this year in Kilkenny College of Beauty & Sports Therapy.
Miss Waterford – Tara Dornbusch
Tara, 23, from Waterford city, recently completed her veterinary nursing studies.
Miss Wicklow – Tanya Flood
Tanya, 24, from Druids Glen, Co. Wicklow, is working as a research and development scientist with a degree in chemical and pharmaceutical Science.
Miss Wicklow Town – Erika Bellamy
Erika, 21, from Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, is currently studying business in DCU.

Cassie, 21, from Castlebridge in Wexford town, just finished her level 8 degree in social science and is currently working in Candy Boutique.
