Matthew MacNabb reveals his Love Island pals are hoping to fly to Ireland to support him on DWTS

Matthew MacNabb has revealed some of his Love Island co-stars are hoping to fly to Ireland to support him on Dancing with the Stars.

The reality star, who shot to fame on the dating show last summer, and his partner Laura Nolan will dance the samba to a remix of Justin Bieber’s One Dance in the semi-final this Sunday night.

Speaking ahead of the show, the Downpatrick native said a lot of his fellow Love Islanders have been in touch to support him while he’s been on the RTÉ show.

He said: “It would be nice to get a couple of them over. I know Brad [McClelland] and a lot of them were looking to come over if we got into the final.”

While Matthew didn’t find love in the Love Island villa, he has since found love through Dancing with the Stars.

When asked whether he would reveal the identity of his mystery lady if he got through to the final, the 27-year-old told Goss.ie: “Maybe, I’ll see… That’s a good tactic to get people to vote alright!”
