It was an emotional day for Galway GAA fans yesterday, as the county’s 29-year All-Ireland famine finally came to an end.
Galway captain David Burke proudly lifted the Liam MacCarthy cup after beating Waterford in the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship Final at Croke Park.
While social media was bursting with proud messages after the win – Marty Morrissey definitely won the most likes by posting the funniest photobomb ever.
