Mark Wahlberg visited Adare Manor this weekend

The A-lister is spending some downtime in Limerick

Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg has visited Adare Manor Hotel this weekend.

The actor and keen golfer headed to the world renowned hotel to get some practice on the golf course ahead of the 2020 JP McManus Pro-Am.

Taking to Instagram, Mark shared a video of the grounds and thanked JP McManus (as JP) and Denis Desmond (double d) for the recommendation.

“We are here at Adare Manor,” he said in the video.

“Wow, JP, double D, you guys got to be kidding me, wow, beautiful.”

The Departed actor is known for being a golf enthusiast, and reportedly plays daily on his custom-built course in his home in California.

Mark will be making his debut at the JP McManus Pro-Am in 2020, a tournament which sees professional golfers and top name celebrities come together.

The event will take place from July 6 to 7 at Adare Manor.

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Pádraig Harrington and world number one Justin Rose are just some of the golfers who are set to attend.

And Mark wasn’t the only star at Adare Manor this weekend.

Ex Footballer Robbie Keane spent the weekend at the lavish hotel with his wife Claudine.

And of course, Robbie also took to the golf course.
