Mel Gibson has been spotted in Dublin.
The actor is known for his love of Ireland, having filmed his Scottish film Braveheart on the island back in 1995.
The New Yorker is in the city with Sean Penn filming for their new film, The Surgeon of Crowthrone.
The film being made by Mel’s production company, Icon Films, is based on the book by Simon Winchester who wrote it in 1998.
The plot follows how the dictionary was created by Dr. W. C. Minor – a retired United States Army Surgeon.
According to the Irish Times, the American stars will be in Dublin for the next eight weeks filming.
