Love/Hate star Laurence Kinlan has fired back at Katie Taylor, after she criticised golfers Shane Lowry and Rory McIlroy for pulling out of the Olympic Games.
Following Rory pulling out of the games last week, Shane then followed suit and announced that he would be doing the same due to the threats surrounding the Zika virus.
Upon hearing the news, Katie Taylor seemed less than impressed with the Irish golfers and took to Twitter to say, “Another one bites the dust. I wonder what excuse the golfers would of made if there was no virus.”

Katie’s response has caused much debate, with some agreeing with the boxing champ, but some claiming that the sports men were totally right – namely Laurence Kinlan.
Clearly outraged by Katie’s criticism, the Love/Hate actor fired back.
“I wonder if you had plans on having a baby would you risk causing the harm it can have on newborns?? I know I wouldn’t,” he replied to Katie.
Katie has not yet responded to Laurence.
