Laura Whitmore has opened up about her experience with Harvey Weinstein.
As his sexual harrasment scandals broke around the world, sources had revealed that Laura was previously in talks with the Hollywood producer about different projects.
Laura was even spotted at one of Harvey Wesintein’s BAFTA parties back in 2013.
Until now, Laura hadn’t spoken about her time with Harvey, but speaking to pal Eoghan McDermott on his 2FM show, Laura said she felt “lucky” to have not been in the same position as other women.
“I was never in a situation where I was by myself (with him), and it was a working situation,” she said.
“I think the scary thing is when you read other articles about other women’s stories and you realise, ‘Oh, if I had gone to that room, or if I had done that…’
“It’s a little bit worrying and I’m very lucky I was never in that situation so I don’t want to use other women’s pain and what they’ve gone through and talk about it, cos I was very lucky that I wasn’t in that situation,” she explained.
Laura was on the show to promote her new TV series Survival of the Fittest.
