Keith Duffy has revealed Shane Lynch and his wife Sheena are still together – just months after he announced their split during lockdown.
Back in April, the Boyzone star confirmed he had moved out of his family home, as he and his wife had been at “each other’s throats”.
Shane married backing singer Sheena back in 2007, and the couple share two daughters – Billie, 11, and Marley, 7.
Speaking on Paul Danan’s Morning After podcast, Shane said: “We have had difficult times and are going through difficult times right now in this isolation thing.”
“I’m not even in my family home right now because me and her were at each other’s throats. It wasn’t a good time or a good space.”
“I’m praying every day me and my wife sort out our things and I get back to my kids,” he said at the time.
However, Shane’s bandmate Keith has since told OK! magazine: “I was talking to Shane and he and Sheena are very happy, so I wouldn’t believe everything you read.”
Speaking about his own life during lockdown, the 45-year-old said: “I’ve been wonderful. This is the longest I’ve been in Dublin for 20 years. I’ve really connected with my family.”
“I know there has been heartache, we’ve suffered and we have had family members in hospital sick with coronavirus and we were so worried, but it is time I didn’t know I needed to have.”
“The only arguments Lisa and I ever have is because I spend so much time on the road and we get a bit disjointed, but because I’ve been home, we’ve got on like a house on fire,” he continued.
“My kids have busy lives and before I only saw them once every two weeks.”
