Katie Taylor’s dad has shut down rumours that the two are not speaking.
The boxer returned from Rio after an unfortunate loss but is back in Pete Taylor’s gym boxing.
“It’s bulls*** that I’m not talking to Katie,” he said.

The Bray native coached his daughter for the 2012 Olympics, where she won gold, but he wasn’t coaching her for this year’s competition.
“Katie is coming down all the time to the gym,” Pete told RSVP Magazine.
“She was away in the States for four or five weeks training, now she is back again. At the end of the day I’m still her father.”
Speaking about her Rio defeat, Pete said that Katie will be back to her usual self.
“Katie’s strong, she’s very resilient, she will bounce back.”
