Idris Elba has said he loved working with Michael Fassbender.
The pair both starred in science fiction blockbuster Prometheus and although they didn’t have many scenes together, Idris revealed that the Irish actor still made quite an impression on him.
“Aw mate, what a great actor,” he said.

“We only had one or two scenes together (in Prometheus) but he was massively characterful, even while playing a robot. He’s lovely, a great guy,” he told the Irish Independent.
Idris is currently enjoying some Oscar buzz for his Netflix movie Beasts of No Nation and was recently rumoured to be in the line-up to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond.
However, former 007 star Pierce Brosnan has admitted he doesn’t think a black actor will be cast in the iconic role anytime soon.
