Iconic rock band tipped to play Croke Park in 2024

The Rolling Stones have been tipped to play Croke Park in 2024.

Mick Jagger and co. are set to hit the road again next year after the recent release of their new album ‘Hackney Diamonds,’ their first collection of new material in 18 years.

BoyleSports has now made them hot 7/4 shots to headline the iconic stadium next year, while AC/DC are also heavily tipped to sign up at odds of 3/1.

Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay are already pencilled in for five headline slots between them at Croke Park in 2024, but it has been reported that planning application is in place for a sixth gig in August.

Ed Sheeran (6/1), The Foo Fighters (8/1) and Harry Styles (also 8/1) are also in the mix as potential headliners, while feuding Oasis brothers Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher are less likely options at 33/1 to showcase their solo projects in the Irish capital.

The chances of the Manchester legends reuniting for an Oasis comeback appear fanciful at 66/1, but it remains a more likely option than The Wolfe Tones headlining Croke Park at 100/1 as they have already announced plans to lay down their guitars after a 60th anniversary gig at the 3Arena next October.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Mick Jagger and co show no signs of slowing down and with new material to show off, we’re seeing plenty of speculation that they’re the mysterious third act rolling into Croker.”
