Hozier has spoken out following Donald Trump winning the U.S. Presidency.
The 26-year-old Bray man shared a poem from fellow Irishman Seamus Heaney called Anything Can Happen.
“Anyting can happen. You know how Jupiter/ Will mostly wait for clouds to gather head/ Before he hurls the lightning? Well, just now/ He galloped his thunder cart and his horses/ Across a clear blue sky. It shook the earth/ And the cloggsed underearth, the River Styx,” it read.
Sharing the hopeful poem itself on Twitter, Hozier captions the post “Admittedly, it reads differently today.”

Thousands of people have been voicing their opinions about Trump being the next president on Twitter, including a lot of celebrities.
Yesterday Macklemore shared a heartbreaking message about the future of his daughter on Instagram.
Lady Gaga went a little further than just posting online, as she protested outside Trump Towers with a sign reading “Love Trumps Hate.”
