Greg O’Shea has revealed his “worst decision” that may have cost him a role in the Barbie movie.
The 28-year-old’s Love Island co-star Chris Taylor appeared in the film, after meeting Margot Robbie.
Speaking previously to LAD Bible, the reality star revealed: “There is a bit of a backstory. The lads went to a premiere.”
“They met Margot, and then afterwards Margot shouted them and said ‘Come to the after party!’, cause she’s obsessed with Love Island right.”
“So then, I was living with the boys at the time, so I was like ‘I’m coming’ and she knew who we all were. She watches the show.”
“So she comes up to me like ‘Chris!’ and I’m like ‘what the f**k is going on?’ I dunno, she must have just remembered me from then.”
Speaking to Greg on Virgin Media’s The Six O’Clock Show, Chris revealed: “I know you were invited too and you decided to not go.”
“Worst decision of my life,” Greg admitted.
The Barbie movie, which was released in Irish cinemas on July 21, stars Margot Robbie as the iconic doll, while Ryan Gosling plays her love interest Ken.
The satirical film follows the titular character as she is expelled from Barbie Land for not being perfect enough, and sets off on an adventure in the real world.
The stellar cast also includes Nicola Coughlan, Dua Lipa, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Emerald Fennell, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Hari Nef, Ariana Greenblatt, Sharon Rooney, Scott Evans, Rhea Pearlman, and Will Ferrell.
